“A series of tapestries based on my son’s drawings was inspired by my admiration for the composition of his sketches and the interesting details. The scaled-up lines are true to the original; the technique, the choice of materials and the colour are mine.
The tapestries, which I made based on other children’s drawings, as requested by clients, showed that you cannot always find such interesting content and approach to composition in children’s pictures. Evidently, at birth an individual is endowed with a special potential which, if developed through study and work, may turn into professional expertise, and the talent may blossom into mastery. I can see that my child is following this path and I am pleased to watch his progress; I also hope for continued, equally satisfying cooperation.”
